ZED (10 years old; born May 2001 ± 1 month)
Zed is a great little character; still a chubby ball of fluff, he has been looked after by his older brother Zalu since the death of his mother when he was only 6 years old. This meant an early introduction for them both into the social world of the independent males and it’s great to see him striding along chest puffed out with the big boys. Zed seems to have a particularly special relationship with Zefa (the Z letter they share is a coincidence and they aren’t related through the maternal line) – he’s one of the few youngsters to be able to get the normally reserved Zefa to let loose and play – it will be interesting to see in the next round of DNA paternity tests if he might turn out to be Zefa’s son.
